These interpreters only have headsets with small transmitters and receivers or wireless microphones, and sometimes the interpreters rely only on their hearing and their voices. The interpreters sometimes sit near the speakers and at other times are mobile with the speaker. By omitting the booths and audio equipment options, the cost is greatly reduced.
